Liberals say let’s vote for ‘normalcy’, elect Biden; we say that would end the American dream

By Bruce Scott

Most of us have liberal friends and relatives who are voting for Joe Biden, not because they think he’s a wonderful choice, but because they hate Donald J. Trump. Maybe they think Trump’s rudeness outweighs all his accomplishments? Could it be they don’t know that Biden was the most corrupt vice president in history? That Joe Biden has a “For Sale” sign hung around his neck? After all, social media is suppressing stories about the Bidens’ international influence-buying scheme, as revealed on Hunter Biden’s laptop, and the mainstream media is working overtime to protect the Bidens.

Maybe your Democrat friends and relations just don’t have the same concerns you do. Maybe they view the world differently.

Social media giants are kicking conservatives off Facebook and Twitter, and slashing advertising for conservative news sites? Most liberals don’t know what you’re complaining about; nobody is cracking down on them or their opinions. But if they know about the censorship, they are in favor of it. They have no problem restricting your right to speak your mind. Your opinions are offensive — and the First Amendment you keep citing doesn’t apply to yelling “fire” in a crowded theater or saying things that offend them, or offend anyone else, either.

Democrats want to rewrite the Second Amendment? No problem. Joe Biden is planning to redefine the “right” to bear arms. According to his campaign website, he wants to ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.” He also wants to charge people who own AR-15s a retroactive fee of $200 per weapon.

no guns allowed “A tax of $200 on 18 million AR-15s means that gun owners could potentially be required to a pay a collective $3.6 billion in taxes, if this policy were enacted into legislation,” according to Breitbart News, one of the sites your Democrat compatriots believe should be banned.

Few liberals own guns, and the ones that do keep them safely locked up where no one will be tempted to use them. If they have an emergency or need help, they plan on calling 911 for the police they are planning to defund.

Tear down the border wall and open the country up to caravans of undocumented people? That’s a great idea, your liberal friends say. We should be more welcoming as a nation. We’ve been stealing other countries’ resources to enrich America, and we should make every effort to pay them back. Free healthcare for illegals — excuse me, undocumented workers? Another great idea; healthcare is a human right, like housing, food, education, clothing, etc. Who’s going to pay for it? Why, you will, of course, through higher taxes, or maybe the federal government will just print more money.

President Trump is working to keep illegal aliens, particularly criminal aliens, on the southern side of the border. As of Oct. 14, he has built more than 340 miles of wall at the United States-Mexico border. U.S. Customs and Border Protection continues to arrest smugglers, convicted sex offenders and other criminals attempting to cross into the United States.

Give preferential treatment to minorities and illegal aliens over white men and native-born citizens? Your liberal friends and relations think this is another good idea. California, which often serves as the progressive model for the rest of the nation, is attempting to overturn Proposition 209, approved by voters in 1996, which abolished affirmative action. Instead, California’s Democratic triumvirate — Dems control the governorship, House and Senate — want to pass Proposition 16, which would allow the state to discriminate in favor of minorities. It’s on the state ballot this November.

According to the Los Angeles Times, passage of Prop. 16 would allow public universities, including the University of California and California State systems, to consider race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin to address diversity in admissions and other programs. Both state and local governments would be allowed to consider those same factors when hiring government employees and awarding government contracts. Conservatives look at this as “reverse discrimination,” liberals as a way to overcome “systemic racism” and achieve “equality” by institutionalizing new forms of discrimination.

women in prison Speaking of discrimination, vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris, as a district attorney and attorney general, cracked down on poor people and addicts, while turning a blind eye to police and prosecutorial corruption. Biden is one of the key architects of the failed, immoral War on Drugs, and shares responsibility for locking up tens of thousands of people, mostly minority members, on minor drug offenses. Donald Trump, on the other hand, is the architect of a successful, bipartisan criminal justice-reform bill that freed thousands of those individuals.

Federally funded, unrestricted abortion on demand, for any reason and at any time? Women’s rights are human rights, liberals say. When a counter-protester told one of the women marching against Amy Coney Barrett’s appointment to the Supreme Court that half of the aborted babies are female, she cogently replied, “I don’t give a f—.” Trump is one of the most pro-life presidents in history, another reason for liberals to hate him.

child labor safe-toys-from-china Trump wants to bring manufacturing back from China? The liberal position is this is a bad idea because it will increase global warming and hasten the end of the planet. (How Chinese manufacturing fails to contribute to climate change is never addressed.) In Trump’s first 30 months, before the pandemic, America added 314,000 manufacturing jobs. Your liberal relatives don’t need a job; they either have one that is considered “essential” (in government is best), or are retired.

Liberals believe in man-made climate change, which America is primarily responsible for, but do not believe in God — at least, not with a big “G.” Trump believes climate change is a scam, and God is real. Two more marks against him.

President Trump wants to replace a worn-out healthcare system, dubbed Obamacare, with a system that provides more choices and better service at less cost? The Democrats reply that he wants to abolish coverage of pre-existing conditions. This claim is a lie: Trump signed executive orders preserving coverage of pre-existing conditions. Your liberal relatives believe the lie. They watch CNN, the Big Three (CBS, ABC and NBC) and the Comedy channel. They listen to PBS on the radio, and look at “news” sites like the New York Times, Slate and Mother Jones. They never look at conservative news sites, which they consider fake. Self-affirmation is everything.

This Presidential race is a choice for freedom or Socialism? Your Democrat relatives and friends scoff at this idea. They don’t know, or care, that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been endorsed by both the Revolutionary Communist Party USA and Social Democrats USA (socialists). Democratic Socialists of America members are actively campaigning for Biden.

Hunter Biden in nice suit The Chinese Communist Party has made it clear it supports Biden, the man whose son made millions of dollars from deals with companies that have CCP connections. Hunter Biden was offered $10 million a year by China’s largest energy company for “introductions alone,” according to emails on his laptop.

Your liberal friends proclaim that Donald J. Trump has been endorsed by the KKK and the Taliban — claims the Washington Post repeated. The truth is former KKK leader David Duke did endorse Trump, but the president repudiated the endorsement. Spokesmen for the Taliban denied endorsing Trump, even as Trump rejected their (fake) endorsement.

When they fill out their ballots, many of your liberal friends and relatives will vote against Trump because they hate his combative personality. They will vote for Biden, who is being portrayed by Big Tech and the media as a genial, harmless grandfather — maybe a bit addled, but affable. His running mate, Kamala Harris, is heralded as a moderate black woman. In truth, Joe Biden is an avaricious thin-skinned bully, while Harris is a hard-core leftist with the most liberal voting record in the Senate.

Your liberal colleagues and relations may say they’re just voting for “a return to normalcy” when they choose the Democrat ticket. “No more crazy tweets,” they say. “Nobody calling the fake media ‘the fake media’.” They’re willing to overlook the fact that Biden is a Chinese puppet and even more corrupt than Hillary Clinton.

They may also be voting for more handouts. As a low-income voter we know says, you have to vote for Democrats because that’s where the money comes from, the government and the Democrats.

Don’t worry if Biden and Harris win, your liberal friends and relatives will tell you. They’ll mail cookies to you in the re-education camp.

Postscript: How will your leftist friends/relatives react when Donald J. Trump wins re-election?

Trump wins debate with Biden & Wallace

UPDATED 0CT. 1, 2020Trump vs. Biden & WallacePresident Donald J. Trump confronted two opponents on the debate stage Tuesday night, as “moderator” Chris Wallace joined 47-year career politician Joe Biden in telling lies about Trump. Wallace, a Fox News anchor, even repeated the debunked claim that Trump called white supremacists in Charlottesville “very fine people, ” as he teed-up an opportunity for Biden to allege Trump is a racist.

Trump picked up on the bias early on, responding to Wallace’s slanted question on healthcare, “I guess I’m debating you, not him, but that’s OK. I’m not surprised.”

Richard Grenell, the former Acting Director of the United States National Intelligence, highlighted Wallace’s inability to “interrupt’ Biden.

“Chris Wallace doesn’t interrupt Joe Biden,” Grenell stated in a tweet. Wallace did interrupt Trump — 35 times, by our count. He interrupted Biden once. Wallace lectured Trump about interrupting, but didn’t address Biden’s mean-spirited personal attacks, as Biden called Trump a racist, “a clown” and “a liar.” Biden also told Trump to “shut up” — and said Trump wasn’t “presidential.”

Wallace worked hard during the debate to aggressively shut down the discussion any time Biden seemed to be getting the worst of it.

As Revolver.news observed, “Whenever Trump began to get the better of Biden and force him into a corner, Wallace was prepared to step in, declare the topic over, and try pivoting to a new subject where the vice president might do better.”

“In short,” the news and opinion website said, “the Wallace strategy was to step-in and interrupt when Trump was delivering blows to Biden, and to step-aside when Biden was running his rehearsed talking points against Trump.”

Biden refused to say whether he agreed with Democrats who want to pack the Supreme Court (say by increasing the number of justices from the present nine to 11 to 15, adding liberal justices), abolish the filibuster, admit Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico as new states, and otherwise shift the balance of power to Democrats. Biden refused to answer, on the bonkers excuse that it could “become a campaign issue” — and Wallace let him slide. Perhaps fearing that by probing for an answer he would embarrass Biden, Wallace moved on.

On Thursday, Wallace whined to the New York Times about the criticism he received for what he characterized as his failure to “seize control of the debate.” He and the NYT took swipes Trump’s “bullying behavior” (NYT’s phrase), but failed to even acknowledge the many complaints over Wallace’s perceived bias toward Biden. UPDATE: Wallace recently referred to criticisms of his alleged bias as Republican “talking points.”

Locally, residents held six debate watch parties in the Kingman area — two at restaurants (Golden American Pizza in Golden Valley and Anchor Smokehouse in Meadview) and four at private residences in Kingman and Valle Vista.

Here are some takes on the debate from a couple of MohaveGOP’s favorite sites:

The Worst Moments From the Debate Came From Moderator Chris Wallace

From Townhall.com: Leading up to the first presidential debate in Cleveland, Ohio, on Tuesday, Fox News host and moderator Chris Wallace was praised by colleagues like Brit Hume as the “best debate moderator ever” but that quickly changed over the course of the night as it became clear President Trump was taking on two opponents.

As the debate progressed, Wallace appeared to team up with Biden, shutting the president down, failing to fact check the former vice president over some of the most obvious and easily debunked lies, and moving the subject along when it became inconvenient for Joe.

Let’s take a look at some of Wallace’s worst moments from Tuesday’s debate.

1. Ben Shapiro quipped that Wallace turned into a debater as the night progressed—an assessment Trump agreed with, on and off stage. For example, here’s how Wallace framed a question about Trump’s healthcare plan:

“You, in the course of these four years, have never come up with a comprehensive plan to replace Obamacare, and just this last Thursday, you signed a largely symbolic executive order to protect people with preexisting conditions five days before this debate, so my question is what is the Trump healthcare plan?” Wallace asked.

Well, first of all, I guess I’m debating you, not him. But that’s okay,” Trump fired back. “Let me just tell you something, there’s nothing symbolic. I’m cutting drug prices, I’m going with favored nations, which no president has the courage to do cause you’re going against big pharma. Drug prices will be coming down 80 or 90 percent.”

Debate Recap: Trump Wins, Biden Doesn’t Faint, Chris Wallace Goes Down Hard

From PJMedia.com: President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden went head-to-head on Tuesday night, and moderator Chris Wallace got knocked out. Wallace seemed to push left-wing talking points to help Biden and hurt Trump, but both candidates talked over him. Trump and Biden brought out the fisticuffs and both got in a few good hits. Biden stumbled, but he did not come across as a bumbling fool.

While Trump and Biden both went on the offensive, Trump got in more clear statements and Biden came across as shifty, especially on packing the Supreme Court.

Wallace asked Biden if he would support expanding the Supreme Court to more than nine justices, noting that Democrats brought up the issue first. Biden refused to answer the question, and Trump pressed him.

When Trump pressed him, “Why aren’t you going to answer that question?” Biden shot back, “Would you shut up, man?”

After Trump asked, “Who is on your list, Joe?” Biden responded by saying, “This is so unpresidential.”

Not only did Biden dodge the question, but he lost his cool about the issue, and then accused his opponent of being unpresidential right after he said, “Would you shut up, man?”

On the issue of nominating Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s replacement to the Supreme Court, Trump insisted, “I’m not elected for three years, I’m elected for four years.” He suggested that Biden’s call for delaying the nomination and confirmation until after the election would essentially deny Trump’s presidency — an effective counter.
