Local Events Calendars:

The Kingman Chamber of Commerce calendar for February highlights needlecraft, painting and staring at the sidewalk down on Beale Street. The Mohave County Towns’ Calendar continues to list several medical-related events. The Mohave County Fairgrounds calendar lists Murphy’s gun show on Feb. 13 and 14, but is pretty much blank the rest of the year. The Bullhead City Chamber of Commerce Calendar lists a Farmer’s Market on Feb. 6 and March 6 at the “Commuity Park,” which we assume is Community Park without spell-check, at 1251 Highway 95 ribbon-cutting events and a Feb. 6 Farmer’s Market. We were surprised to discover a Wendy’s in Laughlin, NV, across the river.

The presidential debate, the second and last, will be “moderated” by NBC News White House correspondent and Democratic Party activist Kristen Welker. Trump previously debated “moderator” Savannah Guthrie at a purported town hall event that included questions from a former Obama speechwriter and the wife of a past Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate. He also previously faced Biden in a debate with “moderator” Chris Wallace of Fox News, who sided with Biden so much the event looked like a tag-team match.
